Warranty Overview
Woodhouse HVAC Supplies Ltd operates as a supply-only business. All products sold by Woodhouse HVAC Supplies Ltd are supplied with the benefit of the original manufacturer’s warranty only, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Woodhouse HVAC Supplies Ltd does not offer an independent product warranty beyond the manufacturer’s warranty.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Manufacturer warranties generally cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions. Warranty terms, durations, exclusions, and claim requirements vary by product and manufacturer.
The manufacturer’s decision on warranty eligibility, repair, replacement, or rejection of a claim is final.
Warranty Registration
Some manufacturers require product registration to activate or extend warranty coverage. Where registration is required, it is the Customer’s responsibility to complete registration within any stated timeframe.
What Is Typically Covered
- Defects in materials and workmanship (manufacturer assessment applies)
- Repair or replacement of defective parts at the manufacturer’s discretion
What Is Not Covered
Unless expressly stated by the manufacturer, warranty coverage typically excludes:
- Incorrect installation, commissioning, or application
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions, manuals, or maintenance requirements
- Misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification
- Electrical supply issues (incorrect voltage, phase, protection, earthing, or instability)
- Environmental or site-related damage (including corrosion, moisture ingress, chemical exposure, flooding, or similar)
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic defects that do not affect performance
Labour and Associated Costs
Unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer, warranties are parts-only and do not include labour or associated costs, including (but not limited to):
- Call-out charges
- Labour to diagnose, remove, refit, or recommission
- Access equipment, lifting, or specialist works
- Travel time or expenses
Installation Responsibility
Woodhouse HVAC Supplies Ltd does not provide installation services and accepts no liability for installation workmanship, site conditions, or system performance arising from installation.
Installation, commissioning, and servicing must be carried out by suitably qualified professionals in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Failure to comply may invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
Technical Advice Disclaimer
Any technical information, guidance, or recommendations provided by Woodhouse HVAC Supplies Ltd are offered in good faith and for general assistance only. We accept no liability for final system design, equipment selection, sizing calculations, compatibility decisions, or performance outcomes.
The Customer and/or their appointed design professionals remain responsible for final design, specification, installation, commissioning, and compliance.
Making a Warranty Claim
To progress a warranty query, the Customer must provide:
- Proof of purchase (order/invoice reference)
- Model number and serial number
- Description of the fault and operating conditions
- Any photos, videos, or diagnostic information requested by the manufacturer
Claims must be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s process. We can assist with identifying the appropriate manufacturer contact or process where required.
Warranty Limitations
Manufacturer warranties may be time-limited, parts-specific, and may be non-transferable. Warranties may also be conditional upon correct installation, correct application, and evidence of appropriate servicing/maintenance.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Warranty Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable law.
